These 2 "Fokker Fairchild FH227B" were built for Ozark Airlines in 1967. In the 80's they flew for the Belgian national airline SABENA and later its local carrier Delta Air Transport (DAT).

I never flew on this aircraft type, but seeing the old SABENA logo always reminds me of the good old days ...

The two aircraft ended their career with ALM, the Antillean airline when they were dumped in the high grass at the north east side of the airfield to be used for fire practice...
