Anderlues, one of the last remaining cokes factories in Belgium, had been in financial troubles since a while.
The investors were not prepared to finance the modernization of the century-old factory.

No money, no future.

Another tragedy for this gloomy part of the country, more workers and families losing jobs and income, another busy place that turns silent.

A couple of months before the actual shut down I was admitted on the site.
